Had brunch there! Service was great, loved my soufflé pancakes, nice cozy dining area (sat on hi top table which was fun), clean, totally enjoyed my meal with my friend. They even comped me dessert because it was my birthday. Will go back! And I highly recommend :)

Hit this spot real quick on the morning before the rest of the group was awake and ready to go. It was so early and at this place it was just point and buy for me at this point in the morning. I don't have names for everything we tried but 1 thing that really stood out was the chocolate chip cookie. That was pretty top tier for me. Something about it seemed so simple yet elevated but I can't put my finger on it. Also I think they do it in a mold or something because the shape was too perfect. Some of their other pastries and baked goods were decent but the one kinda disappointing thing was Kouign-Amann. The last time I got a Kouign-Amann, they had this sweet sugary hardened like glaze and bottom layer. I look for that in all Kouign-Amanns now and so this place just didn't hold up in that regard. The woman working the front counter was so nice and answered all of my questions. The interior is so nice and clean. I loved that they had a large display for all of the pastries too. In all seriousness though, get the chocolate chip cookie.

I loved this restaurant for their ham & Gruyère croissants and cumin cheese stick. They have variety selections of pastries, desserts, and salad/cold food. It was nicely designed bakery and I recommend it if you like pastries.

We both ordered Pistachio Cruffins and absolutely LOVED them. Universal praise for this savory/sweet delight. If you haven't ordered one you have to try it on your next visit. I also ordered a cappuccino with almond milk while my breakfast companion ordered the Tropical Green Iced Tea. My cappuccino was outstanding, which was a welcome surprise given prior Yelp comments on the coffee quality. Maybe their drip coffee is lacking, but the cappuccino is a solid and safe bet. The Tropical Green Iced Tea however was a disappointment. My companion, who lives for green iced tea, described it as tasting "burnt." Not sure what that tastes like but he felt it was a big letdown. We had hoped to score breakfast sandwiches but they were either sold out (at 8:45 a.m.) or they don't sell them. I'm not sure. Finally, a constructive criticism of this location for the uninitiated: it's difficult at best to discern how and where any lines form - and we weren't the only ones confused. Management needs either better signage or position the velvet ropes in a manner that makes clear what line(s) form where. It was chaos. With all the above in mind, this is definitely worth a visit and an investment of your dollars for delightful pastries (at least the pistachio cruffin for sure) and a tasty cappuccino.

Heritage Grand Bakery is located near Bryant Park They offer a large variety of sandwiches (was very tempted to grab one of the baguette sandwiches) and baked goods. Kids went with the macarons which were quite good while I went with the cruffin. The pistachio cruffin came highly recommended - I found it to be flavorful but a tad too dry for my liking. You should still try it as it's possible cruffins are not my thing. Overall, it seems like a nice spot to stop in to indulge in some sweets while you're in the area.

A new bakery by Bryant Park! We stopped in for a quick bite after the summit one Vanderbilt building experience Limited seating but we were able to squeeze into a small space at the counter ---ham & gruyere quiche (definitely ask them to warm it up for you): perfect little bite with so much flaky cheesy goodness ---plie au chocolat: also flaky, although I think the bakery that used to be at this location did it a little better If I still went to school across the park, I'd probably be here often to make my way across their menu
